세네갈 북부에 자리한 도시 생루이.

Saint-Louis est une ville au Nord du Senegal.
Saint-Louis is a town in the North of Senegal.

생루이 신도시에서 본 구시가.

생루이는 프랑스의 첫번째 아프리카 식민지로 17세기에 프랑스에 의해 형성된 곳으로

2000년 유네스코 세계문화유산으로 지정되었다.

La ville a ete fondee au 17eme siecle et a ete la premiere colonie Francaise en Afrique.
La partie historique de la ville a ete inscrite au Patrimoine Mondial de l’Unesco depuis 2000.

The town was founded in the 17th century and was the first French colonial settlement in Africa.
The historical part of the the town is on the list of Unesco World Heritage since 2000.

La vieille ville est situee sur une ile a l’embouchure du fleuve Senegal.
The old town is located on an island at the mouth of the Senegal River.

생루이 구시가인 섬과 육지를 연결해주는 유일한 통로인 패데르브교.

Le pont Faidherbe sur le fleuve Senegal relie l’ile de Saint-Louis a la terre ferme.

신도시에서 강건너 대서양으로 가려면 섬에서 바닷가쪽으로 놓여있는 다리를 이용하면 된다.

사람과 동물 그리고 새들까지 가득했던 생루이 바닷가.

더블룸 25000(약 40유로)
조금 더 싼 룸도 있었지만 메트리스 때문이 이 방을 선택.

호텔에서 그리 멀지 않았던 레스토랑 La Saigonnaise

세네갈 강가에 자리한 식당으로
메뉴만 보고 당연히 아프리카 음식점이라고 생각하고 들어갔더니 베트남 음식점.
오징어야채볶음과 밥 3800 / 오리야채볶음과 밥 3900 / 맥주1500
동남아 음식 특유의 향이 너무 강했던 식당.
