[이탈리아 여행] 페루지아 // Italia – Perugia

언덕 꼭대기에 자리한 이탈리아 중세도시 페루지아(페루자).

Perugia est une ville medievale construite au sommet d'une colline.

Perugia is a medieval hilltop town.

13세기 말 시작되어 15세기 중반에 완성된 프리오리궁.

Le Palais des Priori (Palazzo dei Priori) a ete construit entre les 13eme et 15eme siecles.

페루지아(페루자) 지하도시.

페루지아의 옛 도시로 세력이 강했던 귀족들이 살던 곳이었지만

지금은 언덕 꼭대기의 구시가와 아래 동네를 이어주는 길로만 사용되고 있다.

처음엔 지하도시가 아닌 다른 도시들처럼 지상도시였던 페루지아(페루자).

16세기에 페루지아(페루자)와 교황 사이에 전쟁이 일어나고 교황이 승리하자

교황은 페루지아의 옛 도시 위를 덮고 그 위에 현재의 구도시를 세워 이 옛 도시를 지하도시로 만들어 버렸다.

Perugia etait en guerre contre le Pape au 16eme siecle. Apres la victoire du Pape, celui-ci a fait construire une citadelle au-dessus d'une partie de la ville, rendant ces maisons et ces rues souterraines.

In the 16th century, there was a war between Perugia and the Pope. After Pope's victory, he built a citadel over the houses. The lower parts of the houses and the streets became underground galleries.

건물 사이의 길 위에도 지붕을 만들고 그 위에 건물을 지어 지하도시가 되었다.

보기 드물지만 자연광이 들어 올 수 있도록

천장에 구멍도 있지만 한 낮에도 조명을 켰음에도 어둑했던 지하도시.
