[모로코 여행] 메크네스 // Morocco – Meknes

 

라바트와 페스 그리고 마라케시와 함께 모로코 4대 황도 중의 하나인 메크네스.

Meknes est une des quatre villes imperiales du Maroc (les trois autres etant Rabat, Fes et Marrakech).
Meknes is one of the four imperial cities of Morocco (the three others being Rabat, Fes and Marrakech).

아주 화려하게 눈길을 끄는 Bab el Mansour 문.

술탄 Moulay Ismail에 의해 건설, 1732년 그의 아들에 의해 완성되었다.

La porte Bab el Mansour a ete construite par le Sultan Moulay Ismail et terminee par son fils en 1732.
The Bab el Mansour gate was built by the Sultan Moulay Ismail and completed by his son in 1732.

메크네스 메디나.

메디나 안에 있던 Bab Berdieyinne 모스크의 미나레트.

2010년 19일 붕괴되어 현제 그 모습을 볼 수 없게 되었다.

메디나 안에 자리한 시장.
황도였던 도시 답게 메디나의 규모도 크고 시장 또한 아주 크다.

메크네스는 메디나 쪽의 구시가와 신도시로 나누어 졌는데

신도시 쪽에 호텔이 많이 몰려있다.

신도시를 차로 다니며 호텔을 찾아 보다 묵게된 한 호텔, Hotel Palace 260디람(21유로 정도)

지하 주차장을 갖추고 있는 것이 가장 큰 매력적으로 다가왔던 호텔.

조금은 낡고 조금은 어둡게 느껴졌지만 가격 대비 만족했던 호텔.
