[프랑스 여행] 슈농소 성 Chenonceau

성으로 들어가는 입구.

가로수가 끝날 즈음 비로서 성이 보인다.

16세기에 세르강에 세워진 루와르 계곡의 슈농소 성.

Le Chateau de Chenonceau est un Chateau de la Loire construit au 16eme siecle sur la riviere Cher.
Chateau de Chenonceau is a castle in the Loire Valley built in the 16th century on the river Cher.

성의 앞 건물이 왕의 시종이었던 토마 보이에가 그의 아내 카더리느 브리소네를 위해 처음 지은 것.

La partie carree etait le chateau originel construit par Thomas Bohier,
secretaire general des Finances du Roi de France, et par sa femme Katherine Briconnet.
The square main building was the original castle built by Thomas Bohier,
Chamberlain for King of France, and his wife Katherine Briconnet.

그 후 프랑스 왕 앙리 2세가 성의 주인이 되자 그의 연인 디아느 드 푸아티에에게 주었고

그녀는 성 뒷쪽으로 강 위에 다리와 정원을 만들었다.

Le Roi Henri II a offert le chateau a sa maitresse Diane de Poitiers qui a construit le pont sur la riviere et a fait les jardins.
King Henry II offered the castle to his mistress Diane de Poitiers who built the bridge on the river and made the gardens.

1559년 앙리 2세가 죽자 여왕 카더리느 드 메디시스가 성을 빼앗고

1577년에 다리 위에 갤러리를 지어 성은 지금의 모습이 된다.

A la mort du Roi Henri II en 1559, sa femme la Reine Catherine de Medicis a repris le chateau
 et a construit en 1577 la galerie sur le pont.
After King Henry II's death in 1559, his wife Catherine de Medicis took the castle for herself
 and built the gallery over the bridge in 1577.

성 뒷쪽으로 나가면 나무가무성한 숲.

파티가 자주 열렸던 갤러리.

갤러리에서 윗 층으로 올라가는계단.

윗 층엔 당시 사용하던 침구와가구들이 고스란히 남아 있다.

성의 가장 아래 층에 있는부엌.

역시 사용하던 주방 기구들을볼 수 있다.
